Living Vicariously Through Shipping

I'm a girl who hasn't traveled much. Beyond a family vacation here and there, once to Vancouver Island and another time to Ontario, I haven't seen much of this world. On top of that I have yet to be on an airplane. Say what?! Yes, this 27 year old has yet to experience the miracle of flight. That will however all change next weekend when Jonathan and I get to make a quick trip to Victoria....by AIR PLANE! I have the sweetest mother-in-law who surprised us with plane tickets and a hotel for a weekend in Victoria, BC. Word's can't describe how excited I am for our little get away, but more so the plane ride.

This got me thinking how much I enjoy shipping my garments all over the world. I guess you could say I sort of live vicariously through them. When an order comes in from a country I'm not sure of I'll always look it up and try find even the exact city it's going to. I figure that even though I haven't traveled much, at least my garments can do this for me.

Taking this parcel ready for Australia on the bike ride to the post office. This will be one of the many modes of transportation it'll be take to reach it's final destination.
One day this girl will do some big time traveling! One day...

This is THE cutest post!!! I love the thought that that parcel will travel by bike, and plane, maybe boat, and by car. So cool.
I'm so excited for you and your first plane ride!! Yay! Did you get a window seat?? I want to hear all about it when you get back. :)
