Sunday Evening

The sun always sets so much later and rises si much earlier in the spring and summer. Sometimes this proves to be a challenge when you either want to fall asleep early or plan to sleep in. Even with blackout curtains the outside light typically seems to find a way to shine in. But I realize our time with the sun is limited so I really shouldn't be complaining.

Instead I thought I'd just share with you guys my plans for tonight while I wait for the sun to finally go down. Currently I'm enjoying rereading an old book of mine, Seven Sovereign Queens by Geoffrey Tease. It's more or less a older children's book depicting the life of seven European queens throughout history. A light but fun read.

Also I'm still working on my old needlepoint project from months back. I've been taking my sweet time on it but now I'm determined to finish it before the end of June. I'm looking forward to sharing with you guys the beautiful colours and design but for now I'm going to keep that a little secret with a simple black and white photo.
Anyways, sweet dreams!
