Choices For Christmast Tree Skirt

I can't believe that next weekend I get to decorate my home for Christmas! Yes this is early, even for me. We normally wait till after the Remembrance Day Weekend to start setting up but we're finding our weekends are filling up or other times are just too close to Christmas so next Saturday seemed like the best option.
That being said this year we will actually have a green Christmas tree. The last two years we've set up my awesome tinsel tree but last year during the Boxing day sales we finally caved and purchased a fake, more realistic looking one.
Anyways, as thrilling as this is for you guys to read I've realized this means I get to make a Christmas tree skirt for our new prop. At first this excited me but now I can't really decide what I want to sew or if I even want to sew one at all.
Thanks to the good old internet I've narrowed down my options for skirts ideas.

A Ruffle Skirt with candy cane colors.
A Ruched Skirt made from a table cloth. Super easy yet elegant.

Scalloped Edged Skirt
A Christmas Village Skirt
Choices, choices, choices. I better pick soon though because I want to get started on it this weekend and have it done by next Saturday. Here's hoping.

I LOVE the little townsie tree skirt! Can't wait to see the finished product. Also, I'm shocked you guys don't decorate the day after Canadian Thanksgiving with how much Jonathan loves Christmas! ;)
