Sneak Peak At My Etsy Photo Shoot

Last night was beautiful. After countless evenings and weekends of planning, pattern drafting, cutting and sewing, my articles of clothing were complete. I could finally enjoy my all time favorit part of the designing processes, seeing my garments on the model during the photo shoot. It's such a rewarding though slightly nerve racking feeling. I'm so thankful to have had such wonderful team members including my awesome husband who was there to lug my bike around, for moral support and attempt to  swat the million mosquitoes away. I was also thrilled to have Aimee on board to model my outfits. She looked so beautiful in the pieces and they seemed to fit her perfectly. What a sport she was. For some reason these countless mosquitoes were mainly attracted to her. She helped with stunning photos, but not without some pain , the poor girl was covered in large red bites. I actually feel bad about it. And lastly, of course my friend Genevieve was there to take the pictures. I was blessed to have her help me out again. She's so creative and talented, I can't wait to see the finished photos.

Enough gibber gabber, here's a tiny sneak peak of the our time on Broxburn Farm for my future Etsy shop.
I wasn't planning on including my bike in the shoot, but after tossing around the idea we decided to see if it would even fit in Jonathan's car. Surprisingly after slightly taking it apart it fit. It was perfect for the shoot and Jonathan even got his first ride on it too. Doesn't he look charming with the basket full of flowers. Tee hee.
At the end of the shoot most of the flowers Genevieve gave me and a few that were collected in the alley ways were still looking lovely so I was able to keep them in a vase. They look perfect on my kitchen table. Sadly that's all you get to see for now.

I hope you all my Canadian friends and readers have a wonderful long weekend and Canada Day!
