Twigs and Thread

In an attempt to better organize random sewing room items I decided to tackle my embroidery thread. I don't have a whole bundle but I do have enough that I discovered I could store it both practically and in a fun, unique way.
After collecting a few twigs and cleaning them off, I simply wrapped the threads around the twigs in sections. This is makes for untwining the thread much easier then when you buy it off the shelves. Jonathan didn't quite get the purpose of it nor the over all look but I love it. Haha, I think it adds a unique touch to my sewing room, as I now I have bouquet of twigs and thread.

I love this! And if they weren't hard twigs, I could also see them as lovely bracelets!!
