I'm not a loather of Mondays.

In fact I've typically been a gal who favores all days of the week. But after a weekend spent mainly sewing at the college and loosing sleep I'm feeling incredibly out of it this morning. I don't blame Monday though, I blame Sunday for making me loose an hour, (daylight savings ended).

Regardless life continues on, no point in pouting. Besides how could I pout after a discovery of an amazing recipe blog, Always With Butter. I found it randomly after looking for some interesting new baking ideas. I'm amazed by not only their creative recipes but the mouth water photos as well.
With recipes like Brown Butter Cake with Cookie Dough FrostingApple Brown Butter Jalousie, and Swedish Visiting Cake I just know that baking something from this list could cheer up any Monday evening after classes and work.
I think I would be most tempted to try the golden syrup cake.
Sadly though it is Monday, so my evening will be spent bent over the table trying to understand some  mathematical formulas. Homework sadly must rule over baking. How unfortunate.

Sadly homework continues to overrule baking for me as well :( *sigh* only like 6 weeks, then I can bake something!!

Golden syrup cake sounds lovely...however...Canada really does not have golden syrup! Though I am sure there is something equal to it you can find. :)

Wow, they look and sound devine!
Wouldn't it be great if we only had to do the things we wanted to do?? Damned commitments..
