Pillow Covers

These past few days were filled with so many good things, just the perfect mix of activities and relaxing times. This past weekend was spent having coffee with a friend, sleeping in, going out for breakfast with Jonathan, cleaning the house, sewing a new pillow cover, cooking food and having a fun dinner party at my house, church, youth meeting, more cleaning up the house, sewing another pillow case and finally an evening relaxed with my husband eating popcorn and watching a movie. Busy but such a fun weekend.

I just wanted to show off my two new pillow covers. The first one I made Saturday afternoon and honestly wasn't quick sure what I was making but after some playing around decided on an almost box pleat ruffled pillow. Thankfully Jonathan approved of this one.

Then late Sunday afternoon I attempted another pillow case with a design I've seen around a lot that has a cute bow. It was simple enough to make but Jonathan is still a little unsure of it as he feels it's a little too girly. Maybe it'd be better in a little girls room but for now it's cozied up in the living room.

Anyways I'm happy to have something new in my living room. It changes things up just a little.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I looooooove the bow pillow! If jonathan doesn't start loving it soon, you can DEFINITELY bring it to my house :)

Haha Amara if you have a sewing machine you could make this so easily and fill your home with them! :)

I love the bow pillow, too! Just tell the Mr. that it's a bow tie. That's manly, right?
