Christmas Holidays through Instagram

I'm back from a wonderful Christmas break with the Ritz family. It's been a while since I've had so many days off work and school so it felt heavenly. Plus being away from my home, even my city and in another's house really forced me to relax and just enjoy not doing much.

Sadly we weren't able to take any pictures because though we brought Jonathan's camera we forgot an SD card so instead I took a few on my Iphone. Instagram pictures will have to do.

My highlights from the holidays included going swimming Christmas Eve morning with the family, the Christmas eve service at church, opening gifts on Christmas morning, all the wonderful meals and tasty treats, relaxing moments with the family and playing games in the evenings.

I was so spoiled this Christmas but my favorite items are a purple jersey jacket along with matching knit hat and scarf from Jonathan. I never would have bought this combination together but after putting everything on I just loved them!

We of course had a delicious Christmas dinner that filled us up so much we could hardly move after.

Jonathan's birthday is also on Christmas day so in the evening we had cake (I made him a bake cheese cake) and he opened more gifts. I gave him a few things but one of the items was this galaxy light globe thing. Sadly all the instructions to put it together were in Chinese and even after searching online for English instructions he discovered they still weren't quite right. Yet Jonathan was committed to putting it together and by the next day he had it up and running. It's actually pretty cool!

Boxing day was a real treat as well as we were able to hit up some sales and ended up with a new DVD player, a Christmas tree for next year and I got two new pairs of jeans. Yay! I also enjoyed giving my sweet little niece and myself matching hair styles.

We spent evenings playing games with company and a card game with the family. A great way to wined down for the night.

But my most favorite time from those past days was watching such a strong bond grow between our niece, Annabelle, and Jonathan. It was quiet obvious that she favoured Jonathan from most everyone else in the house and the two seemed almost inseparable. It was so adorable!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas as well. I certainly did!

Thank's Katie! :) I wish I got some better pictures but these will have to do.
And Nessa jeans never seem to be a fun thing to shop for so yes I was THRILLED to find 2 that I really liked! Yay!
