Wonderful Fabric Shopping Experience

Long weekends are always wonderful weekends and this weekend was no exception. Jonathan and I spent the past few days up with his brother and sister-in-law and had a lovely, relaxing time with them. So much happened but I mainly wanted to just write about what I was most excited about and that was doing some fabric shopping up in Edmonton.

About five months ago, Jonathan and I spent our anniversary in Edmonton and while walking around down town we stumbled across a fabric boutique, Sig Plach Couturier & Fabric. I was only able to quickly look around and wasn't able to purchase anything but knew that if I ever got the change I'd return and stock up on their beautiful items.

Sadly after that trip the store decided that it was time to close down and is currently having a huge 60% to 80% off sale. Upon hearing about this I asked everyone if they'd be ok if we stopped in and much to my delight they were up for it.
I can't express how much joy I got from once again exploring the place and picking up fabric I normally could never afford but was now 60% off. I wish I could share with you what I purchased but since I selected most of my items for my spring collection I want to keep that all secret for now.

To sum this all up I had an awesome weekend with family, going to a fun dinner theater, and of course the fabric store.

Oh and on a cute little side note Jonathan's little niece just adores him. She'd way rather hang out with him than me and while we were at his brother's house she was basically hanging off him the whole time. It was so cute!
