Weekend Photoshoot

This Saturday, after work, I was thrilled to do a photo shoot in order to get some new pictures that may possibly be use for my future blog look.

Jonathan braved the incredible wind with me and we went to a near by park. Though we didn't last long, as the wind kept blowing up my skirt and my hair was going everywhere, Jonathan did get some great pictures (as he always does). I'm excited to see if I can use them. If not then I'll post them in the future. But for now I must keep them for my eyes only.

   Well ok here's one ;)

P.S. I wish I was better at editing. I ordered Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom through my college's bookstore as we can get an incredible deal on them. But they don't arrive till the end of this month. Sadly I have such a limited experience in editing so if any future pictures look funny I apologize. I'm learning.

Hope you all had a beautiful and relaxing weekend.

I use Picasa (which is free )and Picnik (which is inexpensive). Picnik allows you to use curves and levels, stamp... most basic edits. It does not allow layering like Photoshop, but I find for most of my applications it works just fine :)

I was also going to suggest Picnik, that's how I edit most of my photos. Simple, but all I need for now.

Looking forward to see where you take your blog.

Oh, and thanks for the comment on the skirt. I am going to redo it this week, and hope it falls a bit better.

Looks good and looks like the light was beautiful!

The Gimp is also a free software that does lots of edits.

Next time I wear my hair up a la Gibson, I'll be sure to post better pictures. This was done in haste. :)

ooh, fun the photo-shoot looks like it's super cute & yay, how exciting that you ordered lightroom & photoshop. I use both for editing my blog photos and I would recommend trying rad lab for some really sweet vintage actions, they are filters that you can apply to your pics. Have a great week. xo veronika
