This morning I was craving something warm and filling for breakfast. Of course the ultimate choice is oatmeal so I decided I'd share with you guys my favorite oatmeal combination.
We all have our own little takes on what taste best with this breakfast staple and and here's mine, Teaka's Peanut Butter and Banana Oatmeal.
1/2 cup of your choice of oatmeal
1 cup of milk
1 heaping tsp of peanut butter
1/2 a banana
1 tbsp of raisins
1 heaping tsp of ground flax
Cook your oatmeal and milk in the mircowave until it's cooked to your likeness. Slice up the banana and add to the oatmeal. Add all other ingredients.
Mix everything up. Sometimes I add a small bit of honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness but it's just as tasty without.
This truly is my favorite breakfast because I know it'll fill me up and keep me satisfied until noon.
