Making a Skirt from Old Denim Dress

After work today I ended up at the local Value Village in search for something specific, a long, denim dress, you know the ones you typically find in your mom's older wardrobe. After I pick out just the right one I spent the remainder of the evening cutting and pinning away in attempt to create a skirt I'd seen online earlier in the day.
The before...

Over all it was incredibly easy. I just cut off the top, took the helm off and pinned it up on the waist to create ruffles.
Cut cut...
Pin pin...
After sewing on the ruffles and helm line I was done and rather pleased with the results. I ended up making Jonathan take a few photos in our back alley just so I could show it off a bit. Tehe!
