Butterfly's Toungue

"...a sound as faint and light as a butterfly's tongue touching the petals of a flower woke me up from my sleep." (Totally Disgusting, Bill Wallace)

I can't be the only one who's hearing this, it's faint but not silent. Just like a butterfly's tongue it's a sound but I think we're just ignoring it.
And since we're not sure what it is we pretend it was never heard at all.
We're telling ourselves that after it's gone we'll just have to work it out, as if we have no other choice.

I'm NOT the only one hearing this...but even I won't say anything!
