Please don't look at my spelling I'm writting quick and I don't care how I spell something I'm JUST MAD!!!

Please I need comments on this blog!!!!!!!
So, I was hanging out with some new people yesterday evening and I was completley shock to see that they all ordered beer and wine and they are all Christians some even go to the station.......what!!??
That night I had attended the Gate which was suppost to be this outreach, down town, for younger adults from 18 to 30 and I was ever so appauled to here the speak explain that it's totally fine to feel that your best time to witness is when your all relaxed with your friends and you join them in having beer....uhm...what?! He said that we can't ever really draw the line for black and white because it's more or less a personal thing. But from what I've learned God doesn't view one sin worse than another so if someone thinks it's ok to watch a sexual part of a show because they wont get harmed by it but a young 12 year old can't....I mean God never says that ok this person is so "mature" they can handle it and well this one is to young maybe I'll classify this a sin till she too get so emersted in that over time it'll become really no big deal to her. OK so even if you guys don't understand what I'm talking about I just need to vent. I'm upset that leaders of an outreach fine it ok to drink beer!!! Plain and simple........I mean I don't have a scriputal verse to back up my thinking so could I just be narrow minded...cause I know I'm not. I mean these leaders are suppost to have something set apart in them or their just reguarl youth too who don't want to fully commit to full heartlying serve God. And it's not just the alchoil part but just the wishy washy be a "force" in whatever situation and though you must be set apart you can't completely ignore the worlds life so you might as well join it to get people out of it.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY TO THIS CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Dan if you happen to be readying this I could use your expertise also and I gladly want to get input from everyone because seriously I'm lost.

All I can say at this point is that I should have warned you, but at the same time, it's good to hearthat you've come to this conclusion on your own, that in itself makes me proud of you. As for what you just experienced, this is a very good example of what happens in the long term when you start just half a degree off, years down the road, there is no longer any separation, and it truly is sad. Yes you are justified in your outrage, and I join you in it. That being said, you might want to try the C&C at E-Free Church, I've heard really good things about it and know afew people over there. If only you didn't have to see this as part of growing up........Dan

Hey teaka. wow! whatever i would tell you is what youd already know. It's awesome that you see such a distinction between the balck and white and not just grey. that is certainly a benifit we had in the home and church we were raised in. Obviously youre not going to join in and obviously you arent narrow minded. I think part of the reason alchol is so wrong is because people can look to it to feel good and rely on it outside of God and the joy we can find in him. Yes people may try to justify drinking without getting drunk is fine however paul said he would not drink wine or do anything else which would cause a weaker brother to stumble Romans 14:14-21. Someone said, to take our money, our lives, and our bodies, all of which belong to Jesus, and subject them to a state of intoxication can hardly be said to glorify the Lord or be an act of faith.
I have no doubt that youll be fine. Everyone misses you!
